There are two driving methods of paper machine electrical control system: alternating current and direct current.

The direct current drive adopts 590 digital direct current adjuster of Eurotherm, the feedback precision of engine reaches 0.1%, and that of coder is above 0.1‰, the control module of open and closed loop tension is 590 interior standard module. Permanent coiling is typical application of 590 series.
The alternating current drive adopts 5000 series converter of Danfoss. Interior standard coder feedback interface and serial communication interface, adjusting precision reaches above 1‰. It is quite fit for paperamking automatization.
